This is an experiment in distance training. We are a bunch of guys in our 30s who live far apart. This is our training blog. We hope to use each others postings as motivation in our own training.

Nice . . . that's more or less two runs in a week and two posts. I expect to see each of those three runs included up here.
Run to blog. Blog to run.
(haha)
Love seeing new blood on the blog. Looking forward to hearing about the runs this week. You are definitely in the "grind it out" phase. Get those 3 runs in, and you'll be golden. (Not sure where "golden" came from. Maybe a brief flashback to '89.)
Totally agree VTR . . . this is the brutal phase of running, it's going to hurt for a bit as you re-adapt, but the strides will be great and the improvement will be dramatic. Listen to your body, slide in easy, don't push it too hard and work back up to your level. Then you can go further, faster longer. It's all about the process. Run! Run! Run!
you will definitely be golden . . .
