Got out for 3.68 miles tonight. I thought the cold was going to be uncomfortable, but it wasn't so bad. Aiming to run at least 40 miles in January. I find out whether I made the NYC 1/2 Marathon Lottery tomorrow. Will post.

way to go! I'm rejiggering my life to get runs in earlier in the day. I need to get back on the AM scheule which means a better and healthier bed time schedule. I hope you get into the NY half... sorry I flaked on that that would have been fun to get into. We'd all talked a good game of signing up for it then you were the only one who did. Way to carry the torch.

I noted your move with the cherry blossoms, you posted it on FB. That's very cool. I hope it works for everyone the way this has worked for us.
Based on what I see from NYRR, it looks like I didn't make the NYC 1/2 Marathon. It's a little weird, b/c the RR called it a lottery, but then made me fill out an application, which they told me was "not accepted," so I think it maybe wasn't a blind lottery. Either way, I'm not in. Maybe Mrs. FA got in, I havent't talked with her about it yet.
They make you fill in the whole thing and then choose from completed applications. I'm pretty sure it's blind but once you've filled in the info once they don't have to chase you down to get the rest of the 4-1-1.

New Bedfid 1/2 is same day as NYC 1/2. Mrs. FA and I fogot to check if she got into the NYC last night...we need to do that. If she makes the NYC, I'll stay here for support.
